Sheron Chambers Jefferson
Sheron Chambers Jefferson was born in Los Angeles, California, and raised by a single mother with six siblings – a childhood marked by hardship, poverty, instabilities, and abandonment by her father. Sheron was raised not knowing which of the two men she called her father was her biological dad. Sheron grew to be 6’6 by the 11th grade with a size 13 shoe and was teased every day. Full of shame due to her lack of self-identity, she turned to the streets for love and validation. Sheron found herself with an eighteen-year addiction.
Sheron discovered her true identity and purpose as a Servant for Christ at Set Free Christian Ministry, where people with an addiction and all broken sinners are welcome, taken off the streets, and given the love and power of Jesus and a place to heal. There, she served as National President of Sisters in Service.
She had six children and lost two. She was married four times. After surrendering to Christ, she returned to school, living her passion to share the Good News of God’s Love and His Power to Save.
Sheron became a licensed addiction specialist counselor, working in prisons and contracted to facilitate treatment groups for churches and rehabilitation centers. Now, with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Sheron has lived her beliefs and values for thirty-five years. Sheron has a ministry in her home called HIS JOY, where she takes women desiring transformation/recovery into her home to be discipled. She teaches all she has learned while sharing her knowledge with them.
She is graciously living a life in which God promised to be prosperous in abundance – blessed beyond her imagination.
Matthew 6:33: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.”
